Quadrella indica / Oliba Machu

Common name: Palu Pretu, Raba, Raba di mosterd
Height: 4-8 meters
Features: A beautiful evergreen.  It is very simular to the Quadrella odoratissima. The main difference is that the leaves of the Quadrella indica are smaller and the leaves instead of shiny green are a dull green color.  It blooms abundantly with fragrant white flowers.

 

Propagation: Easy form seeds, but it is best to wait until the brown pods burst open and they show their bright orange-red inside with the seeds.
Growing: The Quadrella indica gows mostly in the wild.
Location:  Mostly on limestone
